Design a business card for a mock business.
Required elements:
1. Company name (can be in the form of a logo that you design – but not one that is really in use)
2. Your name (all information can be fake)
3. Company Title (This is your job position – like Sales Representative)
4. Address (must include Street Address – with street number, City, State, Zip)
5. Telephone Number
6. Fax Number
7. Email Address
8. Company Web Address (url)
Design issues to consider:
Hierarchy of Information. Make the important information stand out.
White space.
Use of color to divide card into sections.
Alignment of elements.
Contrast – don’t give me yellow text on a white background.
Legibility. Use fonts that can be read. (People don’t want to struggle to make out your name or phone number. )
Size: with bleed area – 3.75×2.25 inches. Finished card: 3.5×2 inches.
